Eric Logan, PMP, MBA

Founder & Principal Consultant

Eric Logan founded The Logan Group LLC in 2014 to deliver expert leadership across energy, industrial, and commercial capital projects. With over 24 years of experience and more than $180 billion in executed value, he has led 60+ complex initiatives spanning hydrogen infrastructure, data center power systems, utility repowering, and industrial upgrades.

Eric’s track record includes leading the Joliet coal-to-gas conversion, developing one of North America’s first hydrogen gigafactories, playing a key role in TransAlta’s 3,000+ MW coal-to-gas fleet transition, and managing $202 million in infrastructure improvements at U.S. Steel’s Gary Works.

He is a certified PMP with deep expertise in engineering, permitting, and project execution. Eric holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and an MBA in Finance from Morgan State University.

Edwin Krooswyk, PE

Manager of Engineering & Technical Design

Krooswyk has more than 40 years of engineering management and design experience for large and small construction and design-build projects in the power utility industry. He has extensively traveled and provided engineering services to power plants throughout the US and interfaced directly with plant and management personnel. His area of expertise includes engineering services for large utility plants with coal, lignite, gas, and oil-fired boilers and simple cycle, combined cycle, and cogeneration plants. He has extensive
experience with plant emission monitoring and controls upgrades including optimizing boiler operation to increase performance within emission requirements. He has written various publications, presented his materials at conferences, meetings, and seminars.

In the past five years, Mr. Krooswyk has performed more than 30 industrial and utility boiler assessments for upgrades and optimization including fuel conversion and meeting the latest NFPA standard guidelines for plant operation. This work included support for capital and operating cost analysis with selected implementation strategies, presentations, and proposals to various clients. In addition, Mr. Krooswyk’s role for engineering services for these projects include Project Management, Engineer Management and Design Engineering.
